God Shift Era NPC is a non-profit company, registration number 2018/422030/08, and a public benefit organisation, PBO nr. 930065154, operating in Hermanus, South Africa. It was established in August 2018 with the main objective to help improve children’s lives through counselling and therapy.
Our hearts go out to vulnerable, broken, abandoned and abused children in our community. We’ve made it our mission to provide counselling and therapy so that they can have a positive mindset and ultimately a better future.
We believe that if everyone works together, through supporting our events, making donations and volunteering, we can make a big difference! It’s time to see change.
Currently we make use of private counsellors and therapists to treat abandoned and abused children. They encourage these children that their circumstances don’t have to determine their future. The aim is to help them develop their full potential.
Each child has different needs and is assessed individually. We make sure they get the right type and amount of help they require to have positive results. We don't believe in starting something that does not have lasting results. That is why we try to treat children as soon as possible to prevent further damage from happening.
We fund the counselling and therapy cost by hosting events/fundraisers and building relationships with donors.
Nelani Botma - Our managing director and founder.
After volunteering at various non profits in Hermanus and Cape Town, Nelani saw the need for counselling and therapy among children who have been taken from their homes. She is passionate about children and made it her mission to give abandoned and abused children a positive outlook on life. Nelani does all the day to day communications and meetings. She organises events/fundraisers and meet with donors.
Sanet Nel - Director
Children are a gift from God for Sanet. She love seeing positive change in children's lives. Sanet is involved with events and fundraisers.
Carmen Rust - Director
As a mother of 2, Carmen has a heart for children and wants to see them succeed in life. Her unwavering belief in the potential of every child drive her commitment to creating lasting change in their lives.
